1. In consideration of the recording and preservation of my oral history by Women
Trailblazers in the Law, a Project of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession
(hereinafter the “Project”), I, __ Barbara Allen
Babcock , hereby assign, grant and
convey to the Project and its successors and assigns, all of my rights, title, and interest in
and to such oral history, including the recordings, transcripts, and computer diskettes
and/or CDs of my interviews, as described in Schedule A hereto, and copyrights and
other literary and intellectual property rights, except as reserved in paragraph 2 of this
document.
2. I reserve for myself and to the executor of my estate a right to use the recordings,
transcripts, and diskettes and/or CDs and their content as a resource for any book, article
or other writing of which I or my executor may be the author or co-author.*
3. I authorize the Project, its successors and their licensees to duplicate, edit,
publish, including publication on the Internet, or permit the use of said oral history,
recordings, transcripts, and diskettes and/or CDs in any manner that the Project considers
appropriate, and I waive any claims I may have or acquire to any royalties from such
use.*
4. I authorize the Project, its successors and their licensees to use my name, likeness
and biographical information to indicate my role in the creation of said oral history,
recordings, transcripts, and diskettes and/or CDs.

text will also he donated to the Stanford Law Library.
