
Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch highlighted a reunion and reception for more than 250 current and former law clerks and judges from the D.C. Circuit Courts. In an informal dialogue with Judge Dabney Friedrich, Justice Gorsuch recounted wonderful stories from his time clerking for Judge David Sentelle on the DC Circuit, as well as his experiences as both a Supreme Court clerk
and a Supreme Court Justice, a practicing lawyer, and an appellate judge on the 10th Circuit.
The October 16, 2019 reception in the Bryant Atrium at the Courthouse was hosted by the Historical Society’s Law Clerk Initiative. Chief Judge Merrick Garland, Chief Judge Beryl Howell, and Historical Society President James Rocap welcomed the many law clerks, encouraging them to participate in the programs and activities of the Historical Society.
