In an internment case before the Supreme Court, Ex Parte Kawato, an injured fisherman sought relief. While interned, his ally was Solicitor General Charles Fahy, later Judge Fahy. Charles J. Sheehan, grandson of the judge, wrote “Kumezo Kawato and ‘Justice Court.’”
