Charles Harold L. MacDonald (1861 – 1923) – A portrait artist, illustrator, and sculptor, Mr. MacDonald was born in Wisconsin and studied in Paris with Gustave Boulanger and Jules Lefebvre. He lived in Washington, D.C. from 1890 until his death.
